About
Challenges of this project included not only designing and developing new emails, but finding ways to incorporate similarly efficient systems and consistent designs between brands across Wintrust’s entire email output. It also required us to educate the marketing department on email design and deployment.
This project’s development also ensured that Wintrust’s email codebase would be modular and easily expanded on in the future.
Before I joined the team in 2023, Wintrust didn’t have a clear email strategy. My first task as a new employee was to design, develop and implement, in collaboration with the new email strategy team, all-new hand-coded HTML emails for Wintrust’s 170+ bank branches and commercial niches.
