This motorsports-photography client needed a simple, bold and easily scalable logo that could appear prominently as a decal at any size on contestants’ vehicles.
The icon’s shape was inspired by circuit maps — maps of the tracks drivers compete on. This type of iconography is immediately identifiable among members of the community. By incorporating this, the logo became authentic within its environment while maintaining a fresh look.

The logo’s colors needed to be malleable. While the client had a preferred color scheme for their own branding, it was important to develop a logo that could be semi-customized to fit the aesthetics of any given contestant’s vehicle. They wanted to ensure a wider range of visibility by allowing contestants to print the decal in any color or combination of pieces to match their personal aesthetics.
